How long will my products from Rosina last in my freezer or Refrigerator?
FREEZER: Frozen shelf life varies but is typically one year from the time of production. It is important to check the best buy stamp on the package for each individual product. It is usually located on top of the box or one of the end panels. For bags, it is on the front or side panel.
REFRIGERATOR: We recommend using product that has been kept in your refrigerator as soon as possible. You should not keep meatballs in the refrigerator more than 7 days. Pasta and entrée items should be used in 3 days or sooner. Our products were designed to be prepared directly from a frozen state, therefore we do not recommend thawing prior to preparation.
What is the difference between Italian and Swedish meatballs?
- Swedish meatballs are made from a blend of pork and beef. Our Italian meatballs are made from beef only.
- Italian meatballs contain imported Pecorino Romano cheese made from Sheep’s milk. Swedish meatballs contain no cheese.
- Swedish meatballs are seasoned with nutmeg and allspice while Italian meatballs have our secret blend of traditional Italian herbs and spices.
